“Leadership is not about KARISMA, it’s about the character
or attitude you will share to other”. This words/saying comes always in my
mind.
Our SBO
President choose me to become a leader in our multifair, maybe because he want
me to lead my co-students or he has no choice but to choose me rather. :D At
first, it’s quite interesting for me to lead my co-students. I started to feel
happy and excited in our upcoming multifair. As days go by, our multifair is
fast approaching and being a leader I have the responsibility to lead my
assigned team. All I thought being a leader is fun but then I realized it’s
not. Our first practice is such a tiring one. Some of my group members don’t
show their willingness and cooperation in practicing. The second day of our
practice brings stress to me, not just because they came late but because we
don’t get complete all the way. There
are times that all I do is to shout, train them, get mad at them and sometimes
cry because of their unexplainable attitude. Days came fast, we only have two
days to practice. As a leader I feel the pressure because we’re not done yet
practicing our pop dance and speech choir so I decided to call for an overnight
practice/rush practice. Because of this, I experience not to sleep in about 24
hours. Practice! Practice! Edit here! Edit there! Some of my group mates sleep
in about 3 hours, as they are in their sweet dreams, the thing I do is to plan
and I also accompany our D.I (Dance Instructor) in editing our music for pop
dance. Morning came, I decided to go home first before going to school but then
I remember that I have some responsibilities to do. I go to Tuguegarao City to
pick-up the t-shirts for our team, at that time I’m such a haggard lady with no
sleep at all but for my team and as their leader I sacrifice (money, time and
effort). In my way to my school, my body doesn’t handle my stress anymore. When
I got home, I directly came to my room and lay down to my bed.
The day
of our multifair came, I feel the feeling of being excited, nervous and everything.
I experience how to paint and it’s so awesome feeling cause it’s my first time
painting a bench.
I also experience to join the competition in Quiz Bee (Math
& Science) that brought me interest in learning more about that subject. I
also experience dancing infront of many people and most of all I experience how
to be competitive in a nice and fair way. :)
After that wonderful experiences in our multifair, our happiness doesn't end in that way. Victory party and boodle fight at the same time lasts our unforgettable experiences in that multifair.
And one more thing, We also have a water wars. :D
"Everyone has their own different life experiences which make them who they are. No two people's life experiences are the same. And mine are just unique to me."
